By Dianna Landes BCC Contributor

Summer Reading is coming! Children of all ages are welcome to join us every Wednesday at 10:30 am, starting on June 7, until August 2. We have all sorts of excitement planned including a Texas State Storyteller and a Reading Magician. Come in and sign up before June 7 and you will be registered for our sweetest drawing ever!
On Wednesday June 7, Lakehills Library will have a special area of Legos, Blocks and Spinning Puzzle Blocks out for the kids to have free play time from 10 am-12 pm.
The Daytime book club will be meeting on Tuesday May 30, at 1 pm to Discuss Killing the Rising Sun by Bill O'Rielly.
The night time book club will be meeting on Monday, June 5, to discuss The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead. They meet the first Monday evening of each month at 6pm. The book for June's discussion will be The Whole Town is Talking by Fannie Flagg.
We have Ancestry.com free for public use at Lakehills Library. The library can also connect you with a free tutor to meet with you at the library to help you get started using our free Ancestry.com subscription and help you to start your search for your family history. Please call the library and ask for Dianna to make an appointment with a tutor.
Watercolor classes are continuing, Fridays at 3 pm-5 pm. If you have wanted to learn to paint watercolor or are a painter who would like to learn more, please come in and meet with the instructor, Jim Black, to find out what supplies are needed.
As always, all programs, groups and classes at the library are free and open to the public.
