Playhouse 2000 presents Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel from June 30th to July 15th in The Cailloux Theater, Kerrville.
Accepting applications now - July 15
Songwriting workshop, 7/24-26. Terri Hendrix and Lloyd Maines will lead the Jimmie Rodgers Memorial Songwriting Workshop at Schreiner University, designed for ages 15-22. Sessions will be from 9 am to 4 pm in Schreiner’s Floyd and Kathleen Cailloux Student Activity Center. On-campus housing is available.
To apply, email a short essay on why you want to participate in the workshop. Beginners are welcome. Essays and questions should be emailed to Dr. Kathleen Hudson at kat@texasheritagemusic.org.

The wonder-filled world of worm composting 10 to 11 am, Saturday, July 22
Kids six -12 are invited to this hands-on workshop where they will learn how to create their own compost using live worms! Kids will be introduced to the importance of worms in our eco-system, tour Villa Finale's worm and composting areas (not open to the public), and create their own take-home compost bins. All supplies, including worms and a special treat, will be provided. Villa Finale will supply cold water for a “cool” experience.
