Discover the Magic of Reading

Children's Story Time is back, with games, crafts, puppets and stories all designed to help you child with reading readiness. It's also a great place for making friends, both for the children and the adults.

The library will be closed on for Labor Day.
Saturday September 16, 2017 1-2 PM:
College can be a very important part of a person's life, and it can be very challenging to pay for. Please join Anthony Ferragamo, of Edward Jones, as he leads a discussion on how to establish a college savings goal, strategies to help you reach your goal and features and benefits of various education savings plans. It is never to early to plan for higher education.

Sign up now!: Do you have too much clutter? Kids outgrown their toys and clothes and you don't know what to do with them? Rent a space at our Community Garage Sale! The library will host the Lakehills Genealogy Fundraiser to purchase Ancestry.com so that it is available to the entire community to research their ancestry. Booths start at $10 and tables are available for rent. Come by the library and rent your booth today!
The First Monday at 6pm and the last Tuesday at 1pm of every month: Lakehills Library has two book clubs for the community to enjoy. This month the evening club will be reading The Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper by Phedra Patrick and the daytime club will be reading Hidden Figures by Margaret Lee Shetterly.
As always, all programs, groups and classes at the library are free and open to the public.
