Hoping for a quiet weekend in the English country with some guests, David Bliss, a novelist and his wife Judith, a retired actress, find that an impossible dream when their high-spirited children Simon and Sorel appear with guests of their own. As the guests arrive, it becomes clear that it is not them who will be the problem, but the family themselves.

Texas Rangers exhibit at MOWA

“Lone Stars: The Texas Rangers” features objects and information about the legendary law enforcement group that dates back to 1835. The exhibit includes weapons, badges, photographs and memorabilia and will be on display through Saturday, Sept. 9, at The Museum of Western Art, at 1550 Bandera Highway, in Kerrville. "Illusion: Surface and Depth" Through Sept. 15
The Hill Country Arts Foundation is featuring the thought-provoking work of Hill Country artists in the exhibit “Illusion: Surface and Depth,” at the Duncan-McAshan Gallary.
“As individuals, our senses interpret art differently,” said Rosanne Thrall, visual arts director for the HCAF. “This show will ask artists to consider tricks of light and use of color in their art.”
