Discover the Magic of Reading

Second & Fourth Tuesday of each Month from 5:30-7 pm
We have a new time for crochet! We now have Yarn Club! Please join us with your yarn and your skills to learn from others or teach your favorite yarn art, such as knitting, crochet, tatting or needlework. This club will become weekly if there is interest, so please join us on Oct. 12 and 26 for fun, friendship and YARN!

3rd annual Community Garage Sale
There will be more than 25 booths of gently used items ranging from furniture to house hold items to unique gift ideas. Food and drinks will be available. The Genealogy Club will benefit from booth sales and from sale of their items to pay for Ancestry.com to be available for free to the community here at the library. The Genealogy Club meets on the second Wednesday of each month from 10am-noon at the library. Ancestry.com is available for free and the members of the club will be happy to help you get started on your search, or to help you if you are stuck.
Weekdays, Monday, Oct. 23-Friday Nov. 3Early Voting for Bandera County begins on Oct. 23 at Lakehills Library and will continue for two weeks, Monday through Friday.
Saturday, Oct. 28, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Drug Disposal Day
The Bandera County Sheriff's Department will be at the library to take back any unused and unwanted drugs. This is an opportunity to safely dispose of any unwanted medications and drugs with no questions asked.

4th Annual Halloween Track or Treat
The Library is looking for families and community groups to volunteer to hand out candy, host games or donate candy to hand out to all of the kids that come out to trick or treat in a safe and fun environment. Please call Dianna at 830-510-2777 for more information.

The Lakehills Library now offers notary services. The cost is $4. Please call for an appointment.
