Taylor, Chapin & EVA: An evening of folk music
Playhouse 2000 will present an evening of folk music featuring Livingston Taylor, Tom Chapin, and EVA, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 18, at the Cailloux Theater, 910 Main, Kerrville, Texas.
Although not as famous as their siblings (James Taylor and Tom Chapin), Livingston Taylor and Tom Chapin are both exceptional musicians and performers in their own right. Joining them on stage will be the female folk duo, EVA, for an evening of traditional and contemporary folk music. Vocalist Liz Simmons, of EVA, said the performance will have a nostalgic feel.
“You’ll really be seeing three shows in one night,” Simmons said. “There will be lots of music, lots of storytelling — and lots of surprises!”
Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.caillouxtheater.com or by calling 830-896-9393.
