Tandie Mansfield announces candidacy for Bandera County Clerk

Public Service Announcement

I was born and raised in Bandera. After graduating from Bandera High School, I attended Schreiner University where I obtained an associate’s degree in business. Soon after, I married my high school sweetheart, Bo Mansfield, who was in the United States Marine Corps. We have two wonderful children. Averie is a junior at Colorado School of Mines, and Kalie is a sophomore at Texas A&M University.
We moved back to Bandera 11 years ago to raise our children in this community. Shortly after, I began working in the Bandera County Clerk’s office. I started out working in the Official Public Records department and moved into Civil, Juvenile and Probate cases. To further familiarize myself with the entire Clerk’s office, I moved into the Criminal Misdemeanor Department, where I am currently the court coordinator.
I was extremely fortunate to be mentored by the retiring clerk, Candy Wheeler. For five years, while serving as her chief deputy, I had the privilege of observing her professional interaction with the public and other county officials. Through her leadership, she has taught me the importance of serving the county.
My goal is to serve the citizens of Bandera County with courtesy, integrity and respect.
