Local blood drive
Our theme for April is Give Someone another Fiesta. He is from the Knippa/Uvalde area. Like many children, he is a survivor because of the generous donations of blood and platelets that helped him fight cancer. There is no substitute for blood and its lifesaving properties.
You may have noticed that we have started holding platelet drives in the Fredericksburg, Kerrville and Boerne communities. Platelets are in great need because of their special healing qualities but also because they have a very short shelf life. For more information, call me at 830-522-0178.
As a reminder, appointments can be made for any of the following drives by logging on to www.southtexasblood.org and click on GIVE NOW.
