Cherish Ur Essence presents B2K: Blind to Kind "A Playbook for children to live by". An original multimedia play, created by six Hill Country Elementary fourth graders, Jocelyn Klein, Riley Noon, Jessica Stapleton, Alissa Cooper, Braden Valle, Lincoln Wood are actors who all helped create this project to promote kindness vs. bullying. It is half film and half theater. They will be performing on Saturday, April 22 at 3 pm at the Lakehills Civic Center located at 11225 Park Road 37 in Lakehills.
Directed by Cheryl Tanner, Maya and Emily are awarded with trophies at the annual "Kindness Awards" hence their nicknames K1 & K2. As they humbly accept a tie for "most empathy", they reveal the experiences that taught them how to make happier choices. With film flashbacks and live theater they take us on a journey into their most important life lessons so far.
And it is free to the public.
