The Bandera County Sheriff Department responded to 235 dispatch calls from Oct. 30, 2017 to Nov. 6, 2017, which included 3 major accident; 9 minor accidents; 1 other accident; 2 hit and runs; 3 road hazards, 11 reckless driving, 1 abandoned vehicle, 1 pursuit of vehicle, 2 fireworks complaints, 1 fraud, 1 sexual assault, 1 assault, 3 disturbances, 3 domestic disturbance, 4 shots fired; 3 loud noise/party; 7 thefts, 6 burglaries, and 1 criminal mischief. There was 1 call about fish and game violation, 3 about livestock welfare, 1 loose livestock, 3 animal bites, and 33 calls about dogs and cats. There was 1 report of death, 6 calls for child protective services, 7 welfare concerns, 1 missing persons, 1 runaway, and 1 attempted suicide. There were 12 calls regarding suspicious persons, 13 suspicious vehicles and 13 suspicious circumstances. There were 8 calls to assist other agencies; 5 calls to assist the public, 10 calls for information, 3 extra patrol requests, 27 misdialed calls to 911, among other things.

Jail population included 10 females and 40 males for a total of 53 inmates; 17 of total were contract inmates from neighboring counties: 4 from Real County, 10 from Medina County, and 3 from Kendall County.

• Driving without a license, failure to appear, assault with bodily injury and warrant arrest, on Oct. 30
• Driving while intoxicated, first offense, possession of less than 2 oz. of marijuana and unlawful carrying, on Oct. 30
• Possession of drug paraphernalia, on Oct. 31
• Driving without a license, on Nov. 1
• Driving while intoxicate, first offense, on Nov. 1
• Possession of less than 2 oz of marijuana, on Nov. 1
• Assault with bodily injury, on Nov. 1
• Assault with bodily injury, on Nov. 1
• Two credit card abuses, two failure to appear warrants and a bench warrant, on Nov. 1
• Driving without liability insurance, on Nov. 1
• Public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia, on Nov. 1
• Terroristic threat, harassment, driving without liability insurance and driving without a license, on Nov. 2
• Two failures to appear warrants, assault with bodily injury, driving without a license and writing bad checks (2), on Nov. 2
• Failure to identify and failure to appear warrant, on Nov. 3
• Driving while intoxicated, a third offense, on Nov. 3
