Dorothy M. Collins, 81, of Bandera, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 10.

She was born on April 2, 1928, to Minor and Geneva Hanson Christenson in Spring Valley, Minnesota. She married Edwin Collins on May 28, 1949 in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Throughout her life, Dorothy worked as an admissions clerk at several hospitals.

A good Christian woman, she will be missed by all that knew her.
Dorothy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Edwin Collins of Bandera; sister Norma Myers of Alburnette, Iowa; numerous nieces and nephews; and two cousins.

Graveside services were held at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Helotes, on Monday, Jan. 18, officiated by Pastor Ben Guerrero.
