Freshmen just getting started - and already tournament champs!

The Bulldog’s freshman boys traveled to Comfort, Texas, this past weekend to compete in the Bobcat Basketball Tournament. The Bulldogs played and won all three games in the tournament, so by days end, on Saturday, the Bulldogs were tournament champs.
In the first game, early Friday afternoon, the Bulldogs defeated Geneva by a score of 46-35. The contributors to the Bulldogs offensive efforts were Trace Decker 13 points, Brekken Jackson with 11, Lukas Jackson with 9, Jrey Johnson with 3 and Liberty Bomer and Gunnar Winkler each had 2.
In the next game, the Bulldogs beat Our Lady of the Hills by 10 points with a final score of 56-46. Decker led the scoring with 20 points, followed by B. Jackson with 16 points, and Winkler with 7.
The final contest was against Comfort. The Bulldogs won 36-17. L Jackson led in points with 12, followed by Decker’s 10 and Trevino’s 6 points.
I’m super proud of these guys for winning their first high school tournament.
